Azalea Initiative is a Year-long women’s leadership programme designed to empower women to harness their full potential. Akar Umbi Society is currently seeking twelve refugee women aged between 18 to 35 years old to be part of Azalea Initiative Cohort 3. This programme aims to provide refugee women a safe space to find support and develop their leadership skills and self confidence to be a changemaker for their communities.
The workshop will be conducted at Akar Umbi House, Petaling Jaya. The space is accessible via LRT station Taman Paramount.
